Hi people,

I recently took it to myself to set up a 5.1 surround sound system. As an early adopter of ATH-M50's I've become obsessed with great audio.

I'm currently using my headphones with a Line 6 UX2 which also is being used with my RODE mic. Yet, even though my surround system is set-up, I'm only receiving 2 channel audio. The way my setup is working is that my amplifier is a CD media system from LG which is where all the speaker cables connect to. Then out from the amp is an S/PDIF cable into my motherboard. My Motherboard is a Z87-Pro and I have the latest drivers from realtek. When usually you would go into control panel to enable the 5.1 surround it doesn't let me access the settings for the system itself. I also tried to enable it via the realtek control panel but neither did that work.

Some help would really benefit me for the future (that's if I do a similar setup).

Kind Regards,
