Hello everyone

I have  a problem with my wifi in my home.The wifi constantly drops. I have changed the channels/password/name of the  network,basiclly all the wifi troubleshooting steps that  you can do.The wierd thing is that this problem started last night when i upgradedto windows 8.1.I had the same problem with windows 8.Before that ive been using win 7 for months and it didnt drop even once,i was using ubuntu as well without any problems.I have instaled to correct drivers etc.I have tried drivers for win 7 x63/win 8x64 win 8.1 x64 same issue.

 

Im using lenovo g580 laptop

in the wifi properties settings

 

set the roaming and transmit to maximum power

 

 

also make sure the power saving feature is switch off for Wifi in the power options and in the Wifi card properties

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
