Hi there,

I'm looking for a new 144Hz Gaming/Streaming/Workstation PC :)

Link to my current System

I already made a Build on PcPartPicker, maybe it could be used as a base.

1. Budget & Location

My new System should cost around 2000 EUR, which is about 2268 USD or 2835 CAD (according to google).

It could cost some more if there are good arguments. ^^

2. Aim
It will be mostly used for (semi professional) Gaming (2560x1440@144p+fps) and Streaming (1920x1080@60fps) and should have at least 16GB RAM.

But some work (Web-Development / Photoshop) should not be a problem.

I'm not sure if I should use a single GTX980 or a dual GTX970 SLI setup...

3. Monitors
Currently I'm using a BenQ XL2420Z (1920x1080@144pHz) and another 1080p secondary monitor. In near future I want to upgrade to a monitor which supports 2560x1440@144pHz.

4. Peripherals
I already have all Peripherals. But I think I need to upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional, maybe in future I can upgrade some RAM.

I hope you can help me :)

Best regards

theLine

P.S.: Please excuse my English :D

OK, I will find more error but...

- I looked at AnandTech and found out the 980 getting bout 60 fps at 1440p maxed out. One example was BF4 with 53.4.

I suggest you look into a 295x2 as the 980 is overpriced for its performance.

Lets all ripperoni in pepperoni

Can't help entirely but I would look for dual 970s for 144Hz or dual 290xes/295X2.
