now i wanted to build a budget gaming pc for my nephew.

he want a budget pc which he can use for gaming for at least 2, 3 years,

he like strategy games like total war rome 2 and attila, which he wanted to play on a 1080P monitor at medium settings..

i am thinking about amd A10-7850K or 7700K with R9-270X or 280X

Probably something with an i3-4150 and a h81 board. Then a 280x. The APU in the 7850k can't crossfire with the 280/270. And a standalone is a lot better anyways.

Quote my post if you need me to respond.

How about you save up some of the wasted money in your build, and dumping it in your nephew? In all honesty, you said a "not bad gaming pc", but that build IS pretty bad for your purpose...

Anyway, how much can you afford for your nephew?

Let me ask it again: how much are you willing to spend? Idc if you say 300$, we'll make do with it. But just tell us a value, and we can start building a pc.

Sigh... I give up.

You'll need 8gbs of RAM, a quad core CPU and r9 270. I think. Maybe more, maybe less.
