Hey there,

I have a subdomain that I want to redirect to my NAS server atm, but not quite sure how to do that on my router.

I have the subdomain setup to point to my IP, now I just to have my router tell the NAS that it should work on that subdomain, but I haven't done this before and would like some help.

And before you ask, yes I do have a static IP, so dont worry about that part.

Thanks a lot!

[EDIT]

Never mind, I am sorry, it was indeed working, but a setting on the NAS needed to be changed, I knew I was doing something right! haha. Thanks a lot for the quick answer!

It depends on the protcol that you want to use to connect. But first you need to open a port on the router, then forward that port to the local IP of the NAS server. That should do it. Of course I am assuming that your subdomain is on the public IP addresses.
