Whats wrong with fx chip I've seen some bench marks that tek syndicate did that were pretty close to 3 top grade intel chips

fx chips do have more cores but are less powerful that intel chips. And I really wouldn't trust tek syndicate because he does weird benchmarks. People really don;t understand that more cores doesn't always mean more performance. With my i3 4360 it beats the fx 6300 (picking a match for my cpu) even with 2 cores w/ hyperthreading.

My Main PC:

CPUi5 3570k CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4 Motherboard: Asus p8z77-v pro  RAM: Crucial Balistic 2x4gb  GPU: Two PNY GTX 680's in SLI Case: Some rando Antec one  PSU: Thermaltake 1000w  Display: HP Elite Display 321i 23''  Storage: Samsung 840 Evo 128gb, Seagate Barracuda 1tb

A 450W is cutting a bit short, get 500 and you won't overclock and 550W and you can OC a little.

yeah a 450w is a little low i havent put it to a calculator to see the actual wattage yet

hero i know that the bench marks tek did were weird but the reason i liked the bench marks he showed were because they seemed a bit more practical to me im not looking to play every game on max 1080p, 720p med is fine for me the extra cores would suit me just fine i dont mind trading power for multitasking capabilities he showed that it was able to beat intel be it by a thread when streaming or recording.

fx chip set is fine as long as you have a decent air cooling, would reccommand a SSD to put your operation system and your favourite games(assuming for gaming), it makes dramatic differences in booting and loading up gaming and while changing maps in games. i have a AMD FX 6300 (a cheaper alternative to your processor), with a GTX 970, Far Cry 4 ultra setting 1080p 50-60fps no problem
