Help!

i went to add a hard drive to my computer. i had both of the working. i shut down the system to put it back on the floor. when i booted ut up my original hard drive was not spinning. the hardrive i just installed is working. i have tried different power cables and sata cables

Is the HDD showing up as a connected device in the BIOS?

Have you tried taking out the new HDD just to see if the old one still works?

i did not remove one. i added one. the new one works. the old one with my os doesnt work

Well yeah, I was just asking. Did you troubleshoot and take out the new HDD just to see if the old HDD still works?
