I had been running dual monitor, hdmi and displayport, since April 2014. I never had any issues until about 1.5 - 2 months ago. I turned on my computer one day and displayport stop being recognized. When I plug in another hdmi plug, the dual-monitor works just fine, but when I use displayport, it says it can't recognize it. When I go to screen resolution and try to duplicate displays, it gives me an "unable to save display settings" message. I have tried disconnecting and using one monitor with displayport, and I still get no signal.  I thought my displayport cable was bad, bought a new one, did not fix the issue. If anyone can please help, I would greatly appreciate it. I have been off and on trying to fix this, researching, trying different methods for over a month. . .and I still can't fix this. I have a geforce 660ti graphics card. The connection is displayport to displayport, straight from the monitor to the graphics card, no middleman.

Last thing - I have been trying to pinpoint the change. I don't know this for a fact, but I feel like this happened around the time i upgraded ssd's. I am using a higher capacity samsung evo ssd now, was using a 64gb crucial before. .and i feel like when I switched over and cloned the ssd, that's when it stopped working. I can't say for sure, but the timeframe makes sense to me. Not sure if that's relevant or not, just wanted to get all the info I know out there.

Thanks,

DeVon
