Desktop Speaker Setup Dead Spots

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Try to change polarity on one.

No Matter how loud it is, when ever i switch potions while sitting theirs always dead spots, where the left is quiet or the right or quiet, thiers few angles in with its all perfect.

Any ideas on how i should angle setup. Tp reduce noise and maybe "maximize the bass effect", but more importanly to remove dead spots,

Thier is 2 drivers on each

the "sub" on the front (pretty nice fills up the room with pc)
and the tweeter, You can't see it but it is on the back of the speaker angled 45degrees i think up

Any more information, request and ill give

(prob should i have posted in audio form if staff can move in free time thx)

Ignore the tiny speakers behind the monitor

i only use them when the bigs don't work with voices (the right big one is partially blown but it works just fine 75% of the time)

:o I have those exact speakers! Except I don't have an amp, and my mobo can't drive them, so I've been using a somewhat crappy dell 2.1 system. (And I think one of the two that are the same as what you have may be blown too)

They came with an old casste/cd thing  i can't remember model

im using an 80s ish optimus sta 20 stereo receiver to drive them that i found collecting dust

my tiny speakers in the pic, just don't have enough bass

and my 15inch subs don't fit on my desk so

i settled with these, still nice to fill a medium room and kick ass

enough with story xD still need a solution ;)

Mine did too, ended up throwing that tower thing away because it didn't work.

Not sure on a solution, perhaps if your PC audio stuff has an equalizer, you could increase the mids and highs? or decrease the lows?

My crappy subwoofer and speaker almost always have deadspots. I have to turn down the volume in windows and adjust it manually by the controller.

one speaker is fine but  since thiers 2 and they have that tunnel in some areas is a shit ton louder

Imma try this...

looks wonky on big subs cause ones in and ones out

but on these tinys ones may work...
