So basically i have been debating whether or not to upgrade my 32-bit W7 to a 64-bit. The place where i study at will give me a new code but not for another 3 weeks.

My question is, can i upgrade (my mate has a 64-bit disc) either without the key code or with the one i am currently using for my 32-bit?

Thanks

Your 32 bit code will work for the 64 bit OS. If you ever want more ram etc, you'll need 64 bit. So with this in mind I would upgrade before you put too many files on your pc

To late for that, i already have 440gb used.

And so the 32-bit that i have already used on my current PC will?

Really? I remember it being that once you use a key for a 32 bit OS you can't use it for a 64 bit version of the same OS

CPU: AMD FX-6300 4GHz @ 1.3 volts | CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO | RAM: 8GB DDR3

Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P | GPU: EVGA GTX 960 SSC | SSD: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO

HDD: 1TB WD Caviar Green | Case: Fractal Design Core 2500 | OS: Windows 10 Home

One key = One install of windows, regardless of which bit. If he deletes his 32 bit windows, he can use the key for 64 bit windows as long as it's the same version.
