You need a wireless adapter if you want to connect to your network via wifi, otherwise, the onboard NIC (network adapter) will be fine.

P.s. I would skip the hyper 212 for now, and get a 4690k instead, and then get a hyper 212 when you can afford one: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/W3sy3C

Well, your mobo should already have ethernet, but if you plan on using wifi you would have to get a wifi card

First, don't get that mobo!

Second, a wired will help make your speeds go really fast and a wireless will only be useful if you don't have easy access to your router.

Also here are some recommendations:

-Wired- (Intel makes good ones)

-Wireless- http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-wireless-network-card-pceac68

Hope this helped,

Why shouldn't I get that mobo? Would the Z97 PRO3 be any better?

Just about every MOBO on the market today (if not, every single one) has an Ethernet port onboard

First I wount meet the standoffs to the right, and second the z97 chipset won't benefit you and you could probably find so e better boards at that. Price range, not that I have any thing against asrock, nut astheticly it's good other than the size thing

Im sorry but there were just a tad too many typing errors for me to understand what you meant xD. So what Momo would you recommend that has a blue and black color scheme?

Well, I hear Msi makes good mobos in that color but for your needs I guess an asrock makes most sense

Both ASRock and MSI make solid boards, I like MSI a little more though

So which one should I pick? I don't need any Crossfire/SLI. I just need something with enough fan headers in the right place and obviously the right socket.

Watch the LTT video on budget mobos, that will better answer your question

I already saw that. Thats why I was going with the Z97 Anniversary. Whats the difference between the Anniversary and the PRO3

Pro3 has a few more features I'd assume, but more similar than not
