RAID 0 Dual Boot?

jgoonatilaka

In a RAID 0 array, the two physical drives are treated as one drive in windows. Dual booting would be the same as dual booting off of a single hard drive.

Can I install two OS's on one Raid 0 array?

Hey jgoonatilaka,

As @Alfered Bie mentioned, RAID forces the OS to see all drives in the array as one and treat them as one. Booting multiple OSs from it would be the same as from a single drive.
However, do have in mind that booting from RAID0 would most of the times be longer than booting from a single drive because the system needs to first initialize the RAID and then start the booting sequence.

What drives are you using for that RAID array? What OSs would you like to boot?
