1333mhz is fine, you won't notice any fps difference at all.... The only thing about 1600mhz ram that makes it popular is basically just because it's the general standard

Yeah unless you're doing editing which allocates lots of memory and needs to quickly dump and access over and over, RAM speed doesn't really affect anything. There are benchmarks that prove minuscule increases, but only from 1333 to 2400 do you see an overall improvement. Definitely not worth it for a mid-range rig.
