Gaming PC BEAST

Xatous

I am obsessed with computers. Always have been. Now, I am DYING for a gaming pc I designed (http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/b2gVgs)
I don t know how to ask my parents about this/for the money. I am 13, so I can't get a job (I would if I could) . My family is fortunate to be quiet wealthy.
I was wondering if you has any advice on how to ask/approach my parents about this.

1. convince them that anything computer related is "educational"

2. get interested in something more appealing to parents such as programming, video editing, or game design

3. convince them that getting this PC can be used for educational/productive purposes (which it can)

4. Earn SOME money, even if it is less than $100 to prove you are willing to work for what you want

5. Ask around a holiday/birthday.  Parents are much more lenient towards spending money then vs just handing you cash.

Want a good game to play?  Check out Shadowrun: http://store.steampowered.com/app/300550/ (runs on literally any hardware)

OK that's not gonna happen unless your parents are seriously crazy...

Keep it below 2k... Trust me, the scare factor really kicks in if you start asking for THAT much money.  Generally parents will say no and put on the brakes form there.

My jaw dropped and my mind got blown. That is complete and utter overkill for anything except rendering.

You could go with something like this rather than going down the X99 route because if you are just planning on gaming on the machine then you won't get much of a performance boost out of X99 so just go with z97
