PC is in a loop

My Pc wont start it keeps saying preparing atomatic repairs and then it's saying diagnosing your pc, it also won't let me refresh or reset my pc

let the thing finish. leave it on all night and see if it repairs itself.

It doesn't repair it keeps bringing up options to restart and turn off

It sounds like your startup file or partition may have gotten damaged, if the repair software can't restore it you can give it a try trying to run a windows install disk or USB and do a repair startup but if it can't resolve the issue a reformat may be needed.

Afraid W-L is correct, it maybe an early indication your HDD is failing.

Whate windows are you running? Windows 8 can do a refresh install from the install disk which should lose less of your data.

I'm Running 8.1, I have my original windows 8 install disk but it wont install for me

you have to set the boot sequence so it boots to the dvd-rom drive first.

But it won't let me install windows 8 because I have windows 8.1

If you have a spare USB Drive you can create a bootable Win8.1 USB Drive here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

You don't need the install disk to do a refresh, press F8 on boot and its in the advanced repair options.
