standoff question

Do I need to put a screw and standoff at EVERY hole in my motherboard? Because I think I lost the standoff that would allow me to use the middle screw for my mobo and have it aligned with my case. Any help is appreciated.

You should only install the stand offs that match the holes for the motherboard and no more. If you are slightly short try to leave the empty stand off in an area that you don't plug stuff in much. Such as the very bottom.

So if I have an empty hole in my mobo with no screw in it, I should be okay?

You'll be ok.  But I would rather have every standoff i can use, used.  I don't like having any flex in my motherboards.

 

Just be careful if your plugin something in near that void.  You don't want to put undo stress on the board.

You can leave one off. But I would also suggest leaving the side one, not middle. The middle will be taking most of pressure from GPU and CPU cooler.
