Prosafe vs Normal Switch for Netgear?

I can't find much documentation for the 8 port versions as most of their docs refer to the 16 port version.

They said the 16 port version is upto 2000mbps, but I'm not sure if the 8 or 4 port versions has that or it's only the 16 port version.

http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/datasheet/en/prosafe-plus-switches.pdf

thats all there realy is...

Amazon states the 2000Mbs thing.  And it says it on the box of my GS105E  But remember it says Bi-Directional. So what that means is you get the full 1000Mbs one way and another 1000Mbs the other which is why they they are marketing it as 2000mbs

It looks like their 5,8 and 16 port versions support this.  and the pdf i linked shows the total switchching capacity of the switch.

you probably wouldnt notice the difference between one of these netgear prosafe plus switches VS any other normal switch
