Hi, I'm wondering if there's any headset around the price of the corsair vengeance 2100 which sounds waaaay better for music. Mic is not necessary but needs to be wireless.

Good luck.  I've searched, too.  It's not easy to find inexpensive bluetooth headphones.  I'm about to return a pair of Photive BTX6 that sound decent enough for the price, but I don't think they're all that comfortable.  They do have a built-in mic, though.  

 

If you don't mind using RF (radio frequency) headphones, it opens up more options.  The drawback is having a transmitter.

Got to remember The Corsair 2100 Headset which ive got a pair is designed mainly for gaming which it does a very good job at. As for the music yea it does a ok job but there is a lot better headphones for music out there just I cant seem to find any.

 

I got the 2100 for the wireless after breaking my last 2 pairs of £150 pound headphones by pulling on the dam lead.

Have you considered doing something like adding an extension to your cable? (something along the lines of xbox 360 wired controllers, or the original xbox controllers) That would prevent you from breaking your cable, as it introduces a new weakest link. Better to choose that fails, than let "fate" (or whatever you want to call it) decide. That way you can retain the quality of a wired set without really having to worry about your cans. Wireless headsets tend to have issues with lower quality sound, or latency, which really doesn't help with gaming. Also, if the cable is what broke, you could get a pair with user replaceable cables, in addition to an extension, so that if the worst were to happen, they could be easily and cheaply replaced.
