Reallocated sector count failing is bad. Your drive has a limited number of spare sectors it can replace bad sectors with, if SMART is reporting a large number there, then presumably you are nearly or completely out of spare sectors, which means soon new bad sectors will not be replaceable, and the errors will become more visible backup and replace the drive as soon as possible.

 

SMART won't always alert you in advance to a failing drive, sometimes it says all good but it aint always all good

SSD look s good but that hdd is new and got so many Reallocated sectors thats just not okay i would call the place u got it or email them about this, but im not sure its something that would couse the errors u got

my 1tb hdd has 11015 power on hours time and only 18 reallocated sectors 

 

Yours got 140 reallocated sectors with only 547 power on hours thats just way off

I had this issue with a build. it ended up being I bought a card advertised as 1gb on board ram and windows read it as 1gb. But it was only a 512mb card i assume when a game tied to get access to that extra half gb it would do exactly what you describe.

I don't think that with the 780 there is this problem unless the ram is damaged

it wasn't an issue with my card series it was the asus one in particular that did it to my understanding.

if I have a bit of free time I remount it again to try to see if there is any piece of metal that creates problems

you are never going to get a one size fits all solution to this problem. Its EXTREMELY case by case basis.

well im having similar issues, i can get into safe mode and disabled auto restart but still cant get error codes. i assume because i can get into safe mode and stay there that it isnt a hardware problem. is there anything i can try?

Like I said earlier in the thread I had this exact issue and it came down to a video card, and it would only rear its head during particuler games...I remember spore it would do it, tf2 never. So ya you cant rule out hardware just cause it boots safely into safe mode...if it always does this like clockwork in windows shortly after booting then you can make a case for software issue but I dunno exactly what its doing.

there is a program that fills the video card ram in a controlled manner so i can see if it's this the problem?

Dunno, to be fair I would be shocked if this was your issue. Im just putting it out there that it is a possibility. for months this plagued my 1st build.

You could run MSI afterburner (works with any card) it has a nice overlay where you can tell it to show pretty much every damn statistic in your game.

The vram monitor seems to have an issue where at times it will just break I had a moment where it showed like 100,000+ mb in vram. But most of the time its cool and you can see if there is a tipping point at a particular MB amount

The video signal randomly turn off and immediatly (taking into account the boot time of the monitor) turn on. there is a connection between the two problems?
