Advice on this Build?

So this is my first non-super-low-budget build, and I'd like some advice/recommendations.  I want a red & black color scheme, but I can't break $1400.  I'd really like to keep the 970 and i5 if possible, and if you can give me some recommendations to shape the build around them and even lower the cost maybe, that'd be great.  I will play mainly AAA titles like Far Cry 3 and Sniper Elite 2, some lower-class games like Minecraft (But not LoL or WoW or MMOs in general, those never really appealed to me), and less intensive games like Portal 2 and such.  Also you'll notice how I don't have a CPU cooler, that's because I want some recommendations on one.  Thanks!

Will you be overclocking?

I can, but not for a while, I don't really feel comfortable doing so.  I'd rather not but I guess I can if I need to.

I7 for just a bit more than an i5 without intergrated graphics but because you have a graphics card it wont make a difference

@lee32uk he did not ask for an operating system, did he? however he can get a cheap copy on g2a or something like that. just need some google and he is fine.

He had one in His opening spec. The ones from g2a don't last though from what i have read/seen on here. I have no personal experience with g2a so I can't say for definite.
