If it requires Origin (assuming it does) then it's a no go for me, at least until something finally breaks me down and makes me install it. Only two games that I foresee possibly being able to do that are SimCity and Battlefield 4, assuming both of them are as good as I hope they are.

I am super excited for Crysis 3, I mean assuming it is like they are saying and it's designed for the PC and will look amazing and really push the hardware. I played the Alpha which was one map and that didn't look that great, well it was good but nothing compared to something like Battlefield 3. My framerate was also 2-3 times lower than in Battlefield 3 on max despite looking worse, so I don't know if that's just because it was in Alpha or not but it's something they should fix.

If it requires Origin (assuming it does) then it's a no go for me

I don't understand why people don't like Origin, I understand that if you don't have a lot of games in Origin it would be faster to just install and start a game without it but not geting a game because you have to click 1 more time than usual when you want to play it? I don't get that.

origin can be really annoying with BF3 if you just log in to battlelog there is no way to launch the game before manually opening origin, but the server does reserve a slot when you are trying to join. Origin may work one day but there are still a long ways away

Looking forward to Crysis 3. Loved the first 2 but wished the antialiasing was fixed in number 1 but apart from that both games and expansions were great. I'm liking the idea of using a bow in Crysis 3 as I do archery quite often and it's something a lot different from the first 2.

  • 2 weeks later...

Friend of mine bought and installed Crysis 1 and I could not believe how good the graphics were. Everything maxed out I thought it looked better than far cry 3...

i know im tripple posting but whatever,

i hope its not just some console port, like Dead Space 3 is going to be,

edit, just seen some very bold words by Crytek’s chief: "Nothing will beat Crysis 3′s graphics for at least two years"

bold words, and i think ill start saving for a 780/nvidia titan GPU.
