i have a cheap mechincal keyboard which doesnt use cherry MX switched but it works great for me considering its only £40 its called the zalman zm-k500

I bought the Rosewill RK-9000 with Cherry blues for ~$70 and I haved loved using it every step of the way despite it not having backlit keys and extra knick knacks.

Seem like good choices. Will buy if I find them on sale.
