My system will not post?

Go to solution Solved by Dumprukk,

Fixed the problem....installed the ram in the wrong dim slots (facepalm*) i feel so embarrassed but things could of been worse...Thanks LTT community!

For some reason nothing will show up on my monitor, after i installed the cpu, and everything else for a test boot. I am sure i have everything plugged in, but nothing will show up on screen. My mobo is a ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO and all the LEDs and things light up, when i turn the system on via the start button on the mobo, the led code on the motherboard says "FE" i dont know what this means. I have the DVI plugged in to the on board graphics port on the mobo and the monitor. Did i bend a mobo pin? i put the CPU as gently and lined up as possible... What do you think happened? HELP

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

Its either a problem with ram, bent CPU pins, or not having your standoffs installed.

What does the standoffs have to do with anything?

If there are no stand offs the motherboard will ground off the steal case
