PC Build - Enough Power/Performance ?

Go to solution Solved by Mew,

I know but i will buy it in August do you think the price will fall for this pieces ?

and do you know about the heat,  do you think it will be a problem after hours and hours Gaming ???

Thx for you help :D

Prices will always fall over time. By August, AMD's new cards should be out, and prices on the GTX900 series and current RX200 series should drop. If you are running dual 980s in a somewhat decently ventilated case, temperatures shouldn't be an issue due to how efficient Maxwell is.

Hello Guy's and Girls if around here :D

I'm new to Pc Gaming Rig's i don't know much about them or about the Cpu's and the Graphical Cards.

i'm asking you the community of Linus to Help me please :D

Use PCpartpicker to plan the rig, It will both see if you can find better deals and if any of the parts are incompatable.

And export it as BBcode to the forum.

It looks good though.

I dont know where youre buying this but about 3400euros for this is WAY TO MUCH! You can get this for less than 1500...

That's in Swiss frank, it's actually 3850USD. Which is a ridiculous price for what you get. I'd suggest buying the components and assembling it yourself, it's not that hard to do if you invest some time in research.

I used the CM Silent Pro 1000 M1 and it exploded on me, and CM refused to give me a refund or replacement for the power supply. They also rejected my $45 rebate request (I bought from newegg, so they should have honored it) Honestly, the "Silent Pro" series was NOT quiet either. I was very unhappy with the "Silent Pro" label. It was the loudest PSU I've ever owned, lol. Maybe I got a bad one :P

It might be my own experience though. Still, I would recommend staying away from the CM power supplies. Use an EVGA, Corsair, or Seagate PSU. 750 Watts is MORE than enough to expand still.

I wouldn't advice shooting straight for sli or cfx in a brand new build. Those are options for you to upgrade in the future. You're better off just getting one 980 and waiting for AMD's new cards to come out and see how they perform. Most likely, nVidia will drop their prices to compete and you can score a better deal on the second 980 or you can sell your current one and get the AMD cards.

I also wouldn't go balls to the walls on my very first build, particularly when I'm not building it. I'd rather just get a cheap system so that I can tinker with it and learn the basics of building a computer and understanding what I need and at what price range is a good value. What you're doing right now is just reckless and a waste of money.
