Hey guys,

I currently have a 144hz 24 inch monitor.

I'm considering getting two more monitors for an Eyefinity/Surround setup for certain games (Elite: dangerous, for example)

I have within grasp two older dell 24 inch 1920x1200 monitors. But my current display is 1920x1080.

Would this cause issues in surround? If i were to run at 5760x1080 would there be stretching, or black bars? If there is stretching, would it even be noticeable?

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

You can set your GPU and/or monitor scaling settings so that the 1200p monitors only display 1080 vertical pixels, and the rest will be filled in by black bars at the top and bottom as you would normally see when, for example, playing a 16:9 video on the 16:10 monitor. This way the image isn't distorted.

Do you know if that's usually a toggle-able setting, or will i have to take a chance? I'd rather not get stuck with stretching if i don't have to
