yes, i would recommend posting a full parts list (Whether it is a screenshot from your favorite retailer, or a list from pcpartspicker.com which I highly recommend) to get more advice for your overall build

This is about the time someone will (or should) advise you to look at an R9 285 or 280X to see if you can get either for cheaper than a 960... jussaying

Yeah with a 400W it's one of the situations I'd actually recommend a 960. However what power supply is it specifically?

Ya i just need one in it. My friend has a 750 watt that's really good. brand new never used, but he got it then quit gaming. LOL, but i'm pretty sure its just standard.

But are you using 400W or 750W.... 

 

Cheap 400W will not be enough for FX6 and 960

I wouldn't install the 960 until you get the 750W installed first
