Think this would work?

Anyone know if it's possible to take the blades off an SP140 LED and put it on an AF140 frame & motor?

I want to buy a 280mm AIO & sell my H220, but I don't want to lose the theme of my fans & build  (SP120 & AF140/120 with yellow rings)

The blades are probably a no go, but the ring is definitely possible.

Also if you switch the blades it will not bring the LED with it.

I don't want the LED, I want SP 140 fan blades inside an AF140 frame, so I can have the rings still.

Because corsair doesn't make an SP140 fan with the rings, only with shitty frames & LED's.

Yeah I don't know why they don't just make a normal SP140, but I am afraid you are out of luck unless you just use AF fans for everything at 140mm. I know that this video is pretty old but it does have some quite useful info about fans etc. including both Corsair AF and SP fans, as well as Linus of course. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uUXt7mE6Qg
