Using Different Modular Cables

Hello all...im back with another question to my tech family. Ok i have a Corair RM650 PSU and a EVGA NEX750G, both are modular but the 650 is currently in my case. So the delimia is that i wanted to use the red pci express cable from my EVGA PSU to match my ROG theme but not sure if its ok to mix match the cables. Has anyone done this and is this a hazard, please help.

No it's not possible to mix and match cables from different brands as those two since the pinout on the PSU end is different.
