Break it in. Play games for 14 hours a day for a few weeks or Folding at Home.

 

If after a long time, you can contact Asus and be nice. Whining boards aren't always covered by warranty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Might be psu. Use the paper towel roll trick to listen carefully.

it stays on after u'ved turned the power off, disconnect the psu from the mains?
