I'm most tempted at a Video Card, but perhaps it would be better to wait at this point? Or maybe something else?

**GOAL** - Feed my addiction.... Play all games over 144 frames (to take advantage of my screen) on as close to ultra as possible.

**PRICE** - 1 reasonably priced item that would be the best bang for my buck.

Oh, add some Turtle Beach X12's

Go with a 4690k, 970 or 980, larger ssd, and 8 gbs of ram unless you really need all the ram, especially if this rig is only for gaming.

Laptop - Lenovo Y50   Keyboard - Corsair K95 RGB Cherry MX Brown   Mouse - Logitech G502 Proteus Core   Mousepad - Razer Firefly

You'll need a lot beefier GPU solution, like dual 290s or 980s if you want to get close to taking advantage of your display

Also, for the love of God, please don't but the X12s, I've had two pairs in the past, they break really easily, the audio quality isn't great, and the mic is utter garbage

CPU: R5 5800X3D Motherboard - MSI X570 Gaming Plus RAM - 32GB Corsair DDR4 GPU - XFX 7900 XTX 4GB Case - NZXT H5 Flow (White) Storage - 2X 4TB Samsung 990 Pro PSU - Corsair RM100E Cooling - Corsair H100i Elite Capellix Keyboard Corsair K70 (Brown Switches)  Mouse - Corsair Nightsword RGB

I have a pair of x12s next to me right now. I've had them for over 2 years. Haven't broke yet. However they still suck.

Wishing leads to ambition and ambition leads to motivation and motivation leads to me building an illegal rocket ship in my backyard.

I'm assuming the build list you posted was what you already have, and am looking for one purchase on top of that.

I don't see a worthwhile performance upgrade for you. Your MoBo doesn't support SLI, so you can't just slap another 770 in there, and a 970 or 980 isn't worth the cost in your case because you already have a 770. You also don't want to buy a whole new MoBo just for SLI for a second 770 because then you fall into the trap of replacing parts you already have.

Really I wouldn't do anything.

Both pairs I had broke within a month of me having them. Maybe it's because I have a big head. Probably that actually

This is the build I already have, so I already have the RAM.

I'd be more tempted for the Video Card. I think I can get some good power out of my 4770k with the H80i cooling it.

Haha, I got the X12's around a year and half ago during my 'Console Gaming' days. Just haven't replaced them yet. Really tempted to grab a nice Wireless set.

I'm tempted at the 980's. I wanted a 970 for awhile then the 'issues' arose :-\.

Nothing? :-(. Wait for the next gen I suppose?

Why nota 4790k, why the hell so much storage.

Scrapped the i7-4770k from another build my friend no longer needed. :-).

And the storage is from other machines. The build posted is my current build and is semi-Frankenstein in the sense that it's put together from many other machines.
