What drivers should I install?

I have the Asus z97 AR. What drivers look like junk and which ones look useful?

 

Drivers from motherboard manufacturers are usually not junk. As @Pearsonia said, latest chipset drivers, and latest BIOS update.

The projects never end in my line of work.

So I download all chipset or just latest ones?

 

Just the latest drivers and latest BIOS revision.

Usually what you need are chipset, LAN, SATA, USB3. Audio is optional if you are using some other like external AMP/DAC or dedicated solution.
