Troubleshootingy new pc

Make sure you have the 64 bit version of Java (press f3 in game and check the top right corner of the screen). Also make sure it's using your graphics card (check monitor cable and check in-game with f3).

Update your graphics drivers, and then try again without v-sync on and max FPS on.

I have a AMD fx6300 and an r9 280 and while playing as simple a game as minecraft I still only get 25 fps while recording with obs. This is unacceptable to me and I would like to know why the fps is so low? Any help?
