Alright, so i'm going to cut to the chase. I have a computer with a GTX 970 with one dvi output, which i'm currently using on my one monitor. I was going to go for dual monitors and was wondering if there was any other way to use dual DVI monitors with only one DVI output on my graphics card. I was also wondering if I bought another GTX 970 for SLI, if i'd just be able to use the DVI on that graphics card for the second monitor. I realize this is probably one of the dumbest questions anyone has ever asked on this website, but i'd very much appreciate an answer. Thanks!

Just buy an HDMI-DVI/Displayport-DVI adaptor/cable, they're not really that expensive.

Just buy an HDMI-DVI/Displayport-DVI adaptor/cable, they're not really that expensive.

They are not cables, They are adapters, They get a digital signal and make it into a analog signal.

They are not very reliable, They often have a pretty high ms response.

EDIT: Thought VGA, Sorry.
