AMD HD 7950 unlocking ?

hey everyone , just wondering if anyone can throw some advice my way 

 

so i have an old hd 7950 , and i want to try and unlock it to an hd 7970. (its a reference card made by amd , and has dual bios) 

 

so if anyone has some links or advice , please share

the current list of dead cards is as follows 2 evga gtx 980ti acx 2.0 , 1 evga gtx 980 acx 2.0 1600mhz core 2100mhz ram golden chip card ... failed hardcore , 1 290x that caught fire , 1 hd 7950 .

It's not possible like it was with the 6950 and 6970.

upon further investigation , i'm not sure i have an hd 7950 anymore .... it appears to be a 7970... slightly confused
