Synced Writing

I am looking to have the ability to use a pen and tablet to write notes/comments synced with video footage from a camera in live time. Is there a way to do this where the notes will be synced up with the footage? This is a vague idea I have so not sure the exacts of how it would work so I am looking to you all for some help figuring this out.

sadly I think its audio only. I can check my sister has one

and it records audio as you are writing so it auto syncs. you have to print off special paper and/or use special notebooks to use it though if you want it to record your writing

Ah okay I don't think that will work but thanks for letting me know. Looks like it would be great for school though.
