Hello Guys,

I hope this is in the right section of the forum.

I don't think what I want is possible but if it is, someone on this site will know :)

Is there a way to upgrade the fans inside the Alienware Alpha? or add some new fans etc. The goal really is to reduce the noise these fans produce.

I have upgraded the rubbish HDD to a SSD and I have the i5 version so now the main thing that I want to change is the fans.

Thank you for any help and advice.

Its more or less a laptop cooling setup so there isnt much you could do. I don't really know about the internal layout but if your willing to, you could maybe cut a 200mm whole in the top and chuck a regular fan in it kinda like the xbox one does.

That's my thinking, and I was hoping someone here had already tried something similar before I take my dermal to the thing. Due to the size of the case I would just have it push cool air in and have a positive air pressure, also help keep that nasty dust out.
