SpeedFan Help

I'm not getting the actual fan control that I see in videos and other examples. I've seen people say things like "disable fan control in your BIOS" but looked and couldn't find that option either. System specs in signature. Thanks m8's.

If your motherboard doesn't support manual fan control, then it's to be expected. OR in the case of a lot of those boards, there is a 3rd party piece of software that does the controlling, not speedfan.

The projects never end in my line of work.

See that's the problem. Gigabytes custom fan curve software literally doesn't work. They don't support it.

Last time i used SpeedFan was on Windows XP.

 

It's an awful, outdated piece of software.

Well, is your bios updated to version F5?

 

That may add the option you seek. SpeedFan sucks... just fair warning. You COULD use afterburner to set up a curve, too.
