We all know that a mouse has  much better control and aim then a joystick. So, for awhile now I have been thought that the right joystick should be replaced. In place of the joystick should be a track ball. You know one of these

A track ball should have much better control then a joystick and I find would be a good replacement. Plus tons of people would love to have different designs on them. What do you think of this idea?

Also another idea is to finally put a couple of buttons/triggers/rockers for your middle fingers on the handles.

If you replaced the track ball with a joystick i would Consider it a little more seriously because i despise track balls.

Then that defeats the whole purpose of  having a a mouse though too. =P Unless it also had an optical sensor on the bottom  ;)

Maybeee although I prefer the current mouse movement as it feels very natural, especially on a quality mouse.

I'm not saying replace a mouse. I'm just saying a joystick on a controller.

Good lord, I bloody hate track balls. This would make it even worse for me.

But on games I really have hated the joystick for viewing/aiming. So, would a trackball be better since it is more accurate and acts more like a mouse?

Ah, misunderstood somehow, long day at uni is my excuse.

But my opinion stands, still hate the track ball

but would you rather use a track ball or a joystick for the right joystick for moving the camera view and aiming?
