So I sold my old R9 280x on eBay and the guy says it's not working and thinks it has been damaged in shipping. When I shipped it i put insurance on it for £150 which is what I sold it for so will I be able to claim that from the post office because it was damaged in shipping.

I have not been able to test it yet as the guy still has the card and my motherboard is in for RM.

He asked if he can get the post office to pay for the damaged GPU cost because it got damaged during shipping.

If he had insurance then duh... that's what insurance is for

Sorry, it just looked like it said "I will" and not "Will I", I'm a fast reader.

You should be able to but I'd recommend going to the post office, ask the guy to send the packaging you sent it in, go up PC world perhaps to test out the graphics card. Maybe even ask him whether it says any errors, ask for his specs, see if it is compatible etc. If you find out it is not faulty then speak to eBay.
