Hi

Was just wondering what my maximum temperatures should be?

I know that the 8320 has a max of 61 degrees, and I think the Crosshair V Formula-Z has a max of 72... or something in the 70's I'm not to sure.

I am using HWMonitor but not to sure on which temperatures are which

So which ones are for which?

The AsusTek - Temperature - CPU would that have a maximum of 72 degrees or would it be a maximum of 61?

And I'm guessing the AMD FX-8320 - Temperature - Package is definitely a max of 61??

And they are so high because they just had a stress test I am trying to overclock it but need to know where my restrictions are.

Thank You

The mobo has reached 25c max, whereas the CPU has reached 61c max.

These temps are perfectly fine, and the mobo temp would be referring to the components of the motherboard itself, such as the mosfets

Correct, the temperature under "ASUSTek" should be a max of 70C, and the "Package" temperature should be a max of 62C. I used to have the same question but finally had it cleared up. Happy overclocking!

If you have an 8320 with the stock cooler and stock volts, that's just fine. Mine ran about that hot before I OC'ed and got a new cooler.  Right now I have a CM 212 Evo and 8320 @ 4.3GHZ stock volts stable. I would highly suggest to get a new CPU cooler and OC'ed that thing.
