Hey Guys!

This is my first thread on the website so here it goes! I opened my HP G60-519wm to upgrade the ram and hard drive. There is this cable that connects the power button board (below the power button) to a circuit in the motherboard. When I tried to remove the cable from the circuit, the solder that kept the power button board and the wire together broke and the wire removed from the power button board. Now when I try to put them together and turn on my computer, it doesnt turn on. In fact, I have superglued the wire and the power button board together but that isnt helping. Also, I find it difficult to remove the other end of the wire from the curcuit. Any tips on that will help. What should I do to fix the power button board cable and power button board. Should I buy a new one? Or is there a way to fix this problem. ANY help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Sribeast21
