Mod Mic Sound Quality

How good is the sound quality on the mod mic?

I think I have the 2.0 version. It is a great mic for $40 but if I recall correctly the mic is bidirectional (where I think the mic pics up noise from all directions)? I prefer the Blue Yeti but only because I don't like the microphone sitting next to my mouth anymore.

All n all my first mod mic had a short and the owner of the site sent me a replacement first and just asked me to ship the old one back after I got the new one. I had a good experience with mod mics but like I said I prefer desktop microphones.

I have a modmic 2.0 and I like it for the price great sound for TeamSpeak and such. Not the best if you want to commentate tho. For that go all out and get a Blu Yeti or a AT-2020 both are great mics.
