Gaming and 3ds max are the applications that are going to be used which is better 21:9 or 16:9

 

21:9, even though I answered this in your other thread.

 

You get a pretty significant increase in screen real estate.

Productivity, 21:9. Gaming and media, 16:9, unless you're talking exclusively about films then 21:9.

21:9 is actually perfect for almost all work stuff, and most video content (except TV shows, but those will move to 21:9 in the future too)

 

there are freesync 21:9s coming in a month, a 29inch for 300 eur, and 34inch for 500eur... pretty cheap tbh

That very much depends on what kind of hw you have inside your PC. I've had zero issues running games @ 3440x1440 thus far. I do have a beefy PC though.
