Hello guys, so I have one 4-pin CPU-Fan input. and 1 CHA_FAN input and it is 3-pin.

I bought a Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-2000 IP67 120mm fan and it wont spin with the Q-Fan setting in bios, only on startup and it spins with the rest of the fans.

Intel Asus H61 mini-atx motherboard

Any Ideas?

Sounds like the setting's voltage output is too low to get the fan started. try spinning the fan and see if it can maintain rotation, if not the fan setting needs to be changed. You can also get in-line voltage adapter to change the fan rpm without the need for bios/software.

Needs more power

It spins at the bootup because it gets full power, when the motherboards BIOS boots ,it gets set to the speeds that are set in the BIOS, in windows are your settings.

i think if your minimum fan speed is set at 50% it should start spinning, it needs a lot of power to get it going! same with my NOCTUA NF-F12 PWM it just doesnt spin at 20%, i need to set it to 30% then at 20% if i want the minimum speed
