I've had the HyperX Cloud (first one) headset for about a month, and now the microphone is completely non-functional. Will not pick up sound through any of the three audio jacks on my computer, but the headphones part works fine. I've directly plugged in the mic too, no extensions. I'm thinking it's possibly my motherboard (I wear wool shirts sitting in my cotton/polyester computer chair in front of my plastic desk in my bone-dry room, so there is a LOT of static), because my USB webcam microphone works fine. It could also be windows 7 (HATE stupid HP's IDT audio driver), but that's less likely. Last possibility is the mic itself is broken, but I doubt static alone could do that. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone got a solution? Thanks.

Update: HyperX technical support offered to send a new microphone as soon as I explained my problem. This must be a pretty common problem if they send out a new microphone without even asking for a serial number or email. All they asked was my name.
