OK so I have been getting the BSOD when it gets to the boot menu.

I am on Windows 8.1.

Here's the things I have tried:

Safe Mode (no way to get in to it works)

Resetting over clocks

Recovery Disc (computer tries to load disc but just skips to OS drive again)

Recovery USB (doesn't get acknowledged)

Removing Graphics Card (Integrated Graphics weren't working so I don't even know if it worked)

Changing DVD drives (lost the cable I needed for it)

This perfectly explains how life is constantly against me.

Please help me. My computer is my life and I have no idea how to fix this.

When you boot into windows if you hold SHIFT down it should allow you to choose other boot options, which should allow you to trouble shoot your system if you get a BSOD before that disconnect all drives besides your OS drive and select the recovery USB from the boot device manager and it should load that with no issue.

Tried that.

USB won't get acknowledged.

Enable hot swap in your BIOS disconnect the OS drive when your booting your system and then it starts loading the USB reconnect the OS drive, its worked like that for me a few times, main due to Windows 8.1 trying to be dominate over everything thing else when booting.

In your BIOS you should be able to enable Hot drive swapping in the SATA control portion of your board, I'm not to sure were it would be since I don't remember MSI's BIOS layout.

Okay then what after that?

If it won't pick up my USB, how will this help at all?

Does the board see it in the BIOS Boot menu?

No that what I'm saying.

I can't even get in to Windows.

Have you done a Clear CMOS for the board yet?

No because its not a BIOS problem as I get in to the BIOS perfectly fine but its as soon as Windows takes over.

I asked if the USB is detected in the BIOS you said no, which is a issue meaning either the USB is dead or the BIOS can't recognize the USB, clearing your CMOS can sometimes help with that.

I used the USB like 30 seconds before I plugged it in so it may be the second.

Nvm I have a clear CMOS button.

Make sure the system is powered off but not unplugged when you do it.

OK so I was having problems but I found a way to get the USB recognised.

NOW my USB has the same problem as my DVD Drive and it just boots straight to hard drive again

Even if you try to force the system to boot from the USB?
