Reset the BIOS and see what happens.  Maybe some settings you have are messing things up.  Also are you using any kind of adapter between the video card or motherboard and your display?  Maybe that is causing a problem?  Also check to see if the video card you are using is properly seated and the fan on it is working properly. 

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S
