Hi I recently spilled a tad bit of soda around the space bar area, and after 1 night it felt strange to push down I have been blowing on the switch for a while and it worked for a bit then it got worse again. And I have tried laying it flat. Please tell me what I should do to fix it.

take off the spacebar and clean the switch using a q tip with isopropyl alcohol @cobratank. Make sure you take it off properly since it has stabilizers(hooks). I recommend you watch some tutorial videos on how to take it off first. Hope this helps. :)

Would 70% isopropyl alcohol work?

Blackwidow keyboards, and alot of other electronics in general, have issues with water being spilled on it. Just check some sale website of this keyboard and you will find many people with the same issue. It usually leads to a return which I do not believe is covered in warranty, or RIP buy a new one. The above may fix it.

more soda, I have a black widow myself and have spilled water twice or more, and I just set it up with a fan to dry out the water, works everytime

Ok once I apply the alcohol it works for a while then over night it starts to become sticky again. any other ideas?

You either didn't clean it well enough, or you probably need stronger alcohol like 90%+.
