Ok so I have a squeaky fan on the front of my case. And in order to get to it i need to take the front panel off. Its stuck....where the optical drive and fan controller are on the front of my case, their very tight in their slots and are putting pressure on the front panel. Idk how i got it on at first to make it so tight, but i need to get it off without breaking the front panel and snapping it in half or breaking the buttons on top of my case (Spec-1). Any suggestions on how to get it off other than im an idiot for putting it on to tight? Cause i already know lol.

From your post all I can say (without seeing a picture) is that you need to take out the optical drive and fan controller. They are putting pressure on the front panel?

Sometimes there is locking push clips that you will have to push from the inside while pulling the front panel to take it off.

It will be easier to start from the bottom or top of the front panel as well, dont start from the middle.

Looking the pictures in that post, looks like that panel goes off only with pressure and nothing more, i dont see screw or anything, i dont even think the 5.25 bays have to do anything with the disassembly and the front panel, ut if you are not sure, take the 5.25 drive and fan controller out, just unlock the mechanism and push out, i have a corsair 450D and its too tight too, nothing my entire hand can not push (make sure you didnt place a screw in the 5.25 drives before trying anything both sides)

Ill try taking the fan controller out and getting it off that way. I figured thats what i had to do but i was just looking to see if someone had the same problem and figured out another solution. Thanks!
