so i have my H100i in a pull on the "outside" of my case (there isnt enough room for the rad and the mobo inside the case). the thing is that i have it in pull so since its not (wasnt) filtered i would find some dust depositing on my GPU. what i did was get a used pantyhose and cut some holes and put it on the plastic cover that originally came with the case. so can a pantyhose be used as a proper air fiter?

Pantyhose works fine as a filter.

It'll work fine. People have done this with Mac's, too.

Not the absolute best option for a fan filter, but it still filters out plenty of dust.

I've tried the partyhose option and it was too restricted to allow any decent amount of air flow (could just be the pair I used were just too fine)

In the end I gave up and just picked up a silverstone's magnetic fan filter for $5
